Headstrong fairies, treacherous pirates, ticking crocodiles and the lost boys of Neverland all descend on Wexford this Christmas as Wexford Pantomime Society announce their January production of Peter Pan.
Join Peter, Wendy, John, Michael and of course TinkerBell, who along with the Lost Boys, do battle with the sinister Captain Hookand his pirate crew. Along the journey you’ll befriend the (not so beautiful) TigerLily and her tribe and re-awaken your belief in fairies in this classic JMBarrie tale with a Wexford twist.
Children’s Audition will be held in the dun MhuireTheatre on Sunday 25th September. Singing auditions for children whowish to be in the choir only and not on stage are from 11am -12pm. Children’s Chorus and acting auditions take place from 2pm – 5pm. All children will haveto do a singing audition and are asked to have a song ready to sing at theaudition. Chorus and Choir are open to all children aged 10 – 16. Acting auditionsare for the parts of John (12 – 15), Michael (7 – 10) and the Lost Boys (10 –16).
For adults, there will be an information evening and readthrough of the script in the Dun Mhuire Theatre on Friday September 30that 8pm. Auditions will also be in the Dun Mhuire Sunday 2nd Octoberfrom 2pm – 5pm. The parts of Peter (15 – 20) and Wendy (15 – 20) will also be auditionedon this date along with Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and the rest of the adult cast.
